Summer Academic Program

The Southport School Summer Academic Program Just Got Better! Introducing...

TSS Afternoon Camp at Wakeman Boys & Girls Club!

At The Southport School, we know that summer offers more than just a break – it’s also a chance for students to build confidence, strengthen skills, and prepare for success in the fall. That’s why we are excited to offer The Southport School Summer Academic Program, an extended learning opportunity for all public and private school students entering grades 1–9, especially those with language-based learning differences like dyslexia and ADHD.  Taught by The Southport School’s highly trained teachers, this program offers individualized, grade-appropriate, research-based approaches, including the Orton-Gillingham Approach, Lindamood-Bell’s Visualizing & Verbalizing®, The Southport CoLAB's Executive Function Blueprint coaching framework, The Writing Revolution®, and assistive technology in a supportive learning environment.

For more information on the 2025 program, or to find out whether our program is a good fit for your child, please contact the Admissions Office at Admissions@SouthportSchool.org or 203.254.2044
